Are the 'relay' scenarios (the "multiplayer" thingy from TS2013 where you'd basically play part of a scenario and then forward it to someone else to continue) suddenly removed altogether from TS2014, or have they just placed them in some obscure location that aren't immideately obvious? Seems a bit strange that they'd unannouncedly just remove this function given how they hyped it in the lead-up to TS2013, then of course, it is RSC we're talking about here...

I don't believe too many cared for them to begin with. If gone, good riddance.

Oh I don't disagree, although it is a bit ironic that RSC unnanouncedly remove this given how they hyped it in the run-up to TS2013...

I saw a post from RSC confirming that "relay" has been removed in TS2014.

So they did announce it... I've been on a semi-hiatus from the game for about a year, not paying much attention to the forums, and unfortunately the announcements RSC make on their Facebook site tend to drown in the kiddy drivel

Not on facebook, no, I think I saw it in an answer to a question on the Steam forum.

No, that was the TS2014 forums, Mike. This is the Steam RW Forum most of us sane folks visit: http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/f ... .php?f=619. It is more light hearted and very helpful than that other one.

Ah, OK

Strange that there's one Steam forum for TS2014 and another for Railworks. A bit confusing for newcomers. The TS2014 forum is hardly worth looking at now.

Just to clarify the situation, "Relay Scenario Marker" still exists as a choice in the scenario editor. Never having attempted one of these, I have no idea how to use this type of marker. RSC has never bothered to update its Timetable Editor manual, so this feature, like so many others, remains officially undocumented.

Maybe we will get a real multiplayer as the one and only major new feature in TS15 ... who knows. :)
