Where is the workshop and how can I download a route from it. That is, does it require payware items and where would I go to find the routes?

That's strange as I placed two QD scenario markers, one at either end of the route. However it has been finalised now so it should be possible to create (and share) your own scenarios. I will have to see about putting up a couple of normal scenarios to go with the route but it might not be until the weekend due to being busy with work.

I have seen Raquette River in my Quickdrive selection screen.

I have experienced it might take Railworks a while to parse all the Workshop content.
Perhaps it needs verification through Steam everytime you are online?
When Railworks starts up, there is a running message about scenario's etc. being parsed.
There are checksummed RDB files etc., which probably contain the accumulated result of default routes, DLC routes, freeware routes and Workshop routes.

Without proper information we are all guessing for ourselves.

The first thing I did to examine the route was to set up a QD. It worked fine.

Is there any other way to get this route to work?

Outside the Workshop? None probably, until the creator decides to share it otherwise.

I think the Steam Workshop for Railworks still has some teething problems. In a couple of weeks things will get sorted (I hope).

The route was designed specifically with Workshop in mind, so afraid the answer is no - unlikely to get a release anywhere else.

However as I said it is now finalised so nothing to stop anyone going in and creating their own scenario, free roam or otherwise.

Hi Vern,
It's a beautiful route you've built. Makes you want to pack a picnic hamper and pull up the loco, spread the blanket on the ground and enjoy the sunlight and scenery.
Thanks for sharing this.

I have subscribed to the Raquette River route, but when I try to run on it there's no scenery. I see on the routes workshop page a series of tags, such as Horseshoe Curve. Do those tags represent dependencies for the route? I don't have Horseshoe Curve.

Vern, your route looks and feel a lot like Northern Maine in the USA. Is that what you wanted to model?
