Well getting a new computer, these are my specs.

CPU: AMD FX-6300 3.5GHz 6-Core Processor
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-970A-D3P ATX AM3+/AM3 Motherboard
Memory: G.Skill Ares Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 Memory
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Video Card: Asus Radeon HD 7970 3GB Video Card
Case: Corsair 300R ATX Mid Tower Case
Power Supply: SeaSonic S12II 620W 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX12V / EPS12V Power Supply
Optical Drive: Lite-On iHAS124-04 DVD/CD Writer

Do you think I can run RW on high settings? Thanks ahead

I sure hope so! I was recommended these parts, I'm not really "techy" though, so with that said do you think this get some good FPS at maxed-high settings?

Yeah that will pretty much run RW at extreme settings with no troubles at all. Gigabyte boards are so easy to run with, I have a step up from the one you posted, it's a GA-990XA-UD3 and it's been flawless for years now. Only a quad core AMD Phenom II 970 but it's a solid performer as well. Gonna be a nice rig there!

BUT, don't expect to totally eliminate the "stuttering" or occasional FPS drops. That's the old-as-heck-not-well-optimized RW graphics engine. Throw $10k at it, it's still gonna stutter.

That's what I like to hear! too bad about the stuttering but I won't mind it.

That's a good setup.
The only thing I'd upgrade is the power supply, maybe 700W. AMD draws more power than Intel and it's not good to run a PSU at near max draw.
That BTW is still a good supply. Seasonic is a known good brand.

I think I'm going to get this set up first, see how it runs, then gradually upgrade parts in the future. But I'll keep that in mind!
