What my new PC can do on RW.

Unread postby Antwerp » Thu Jun 20, 2013 5:33 pm

This is a message to all the people who said TSX wouldn't run on my PC due to an built in graphics card.

My new PC runs Train Simulator 2013 flawlessly (No lag whatsoever) with TSX and my old graphics settings. Also my loading times have been cut from about 9 hours (actually about 5-10 minutes) to about 10-20 seconds. !*YAAA*!

I will still look for a 600 watt PSU and better graphics card but at the moment I consider this a Victory !!*ok*!!

Me ----> !!spank!! <---- Everyone who doubted my PC
(To everyone who will question it, the PC didn't get louder and didn't start heating up! It stayed the same temp and the same noise level. So I assume it didn't work any harder to run the game then anything else.)

Alrighty here's my Good News and Bad News !!det!!

GOOD NEWS: !!*ok*!!

My pc has arrived today and love it! My bro installed a new 550 watt for my 550ti video card. 2nd I love windows 8, will download RW later tonight. Horray!
I now have BF3 and NFS Rivals (preordered)

Bad News: !*not-ok*!

Downside on my pc, doesn't overclock. Fan overclock yes but cpu no. (Planning to buy 3 case fan blowers) My bro tried that on the bios and my pc corrupted, rebooted and everything remains at default. But the good news is, my pc has 8 gb ram, 3.5 ghz and turbo to 3.9 ghz. So I should run Soo Line just fine.....I hope !*cheers*!

I have evga precision to keep my eye on the temp to adjust for BF3 and RW atm.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005T6 ... PDKIKX0DER

This 8gb can overclock my pc. But first I have to pay back my sis and my niece. Both were greatful for putting the money together for this pc. I got time for later this year to get it.

Under gadgets in the desk top there is a little thing called cpu meter. Set it up so you can see what's what. Certain parts of your computer may not be taxed therefore not need anything more to run the sim. And don't forget about Game booster if you need it.

According to the Gauge, My Computer doesn't come anywhere near dangerous levels when playing. CPU get's to about 25% (10% is the normal with just Internet) and RAM get's to around 35-40% (30% is normal Just using Internet.)

Glad it's working for you. Jerett. My advice was just that, cautious advice. In the end we all make our own decisions. CPU and RAM levels are normal for RW. !!*ok*!!

If you want to play BF3 with me, my Origin/Battlelog is Cen106936. Hopefully we aren't always on opposing teams

Yay! I'm glad the levels are normal. I'm also still looking for a better PSU and Graphics card. Hopefully one goes on sale soon. !!*ok*!!
