Hi guys.

Here's my situation. I need to create a program/piece of software, that can merge BIL files into one. I know MICRODEM will do it, but only for 2 or 3 BILs. If I do not merge these files, I end up with HUGE gaps in my terrain. So, since no-one seems to know what to do, I need to remedy the issue by building a tool that will do this. So. Anyone know where I should start? What should be my first step? Is it really THAT hard?

Nobody else seems to have this problem, so maybe you should keep trying to find the cause and fix it.
However long it takes you (even months), it will be quicker and easier than to learn to program.

On the other hand, this may be a reason for you to discover and enjoy programming.
By that time you will no longer care about gaps in terrain!
