All of my Games are Lagging

So, I decided to play some RW3 tonight, when I noticed that it had some massive lag, both in loading everything up to the playing itself. So I thought that RSC broke something again. So I decided to try to play Portal 2, and that game is lagging also, even Tekkit is lagging. Although, I have to be honest, this problem didn't start till I DL'd Tekkit, so I'm wondering if that's the problem.

I ran all the scans, everything came back clean and Avast! hasn't alerted me to any virus. Everything non-game related runs fine.

Thoughts?

Well I restarted my computer and I decided to start Portal 2 and RW3 first before Tekkit, and they're now running smoothly again.

I think Tekkit is faulty. I did notice that when I ran Tekkit, it heavily used Java.

Short, have you tried running CCleaner: http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download Just run the cleaner first, if you want after that, run the registry tool. Do a backup of the registry first, tho.
