Win 11 problem

Since I've been on Win 11 I have a problem with file lists shooting off to the left or to the bottom so that I cannot access the ones I want. I can no longer use Paint.net for example as as soon as I enlarge to work on a detail the image shoots off to the left and I cannot see the part I want. Dragging it back with the bar across the bottom moves the image back but as soon as I move the cursor back into the image box (not onto the image) it shoots off again. It makes using DXTBmp and PaintNet impossible to use. If I click on a list of files and move the cursor onto the list to select a file it shoots down to the bottom of the list. Scrolling back and trying to select a file near the top of the list results in the same result. I'm sure it's some stupid setting somewhere but help please - where?

Good Morning John:
If I understand Your Question, Bring up the files You want to see. In the Bar at the top where You usually see cut, paste, delete, etc., off to the right you should see View then Filter, then last 3 dots (...). Click that 3 dots and and then click the options tag, you will find all kinds of display settings for the file display & actions. I would hit reset "restore defaults". Give that a shot.
Take Care, and Hope this Helps -- Stefan !*salute*!

Thanks Stefan but the files did not have that configuration however I have found a partial solution. Holding down the shift key stops the automatic scrolling and enables me to access the files within the folder so I am now able to use DXT and Paint.
