How are my PC specs?

Just got a PC from a friend. I play Train Simualtor here and there and when I do I usually run on the NS Coal District. I’m getting good rates but at times the rates drop and there’s slight delays, anyway to get perfect frame rates all the time? And for personal knowledge is there anything I should upgrade in the future?

My PC specs are:

AMD Fx6300 sixcore
EVGA GTX 1060 SSC 6GB
8GB ram- planning on adding more ram soon
Windows 10 pro 64-bit
1TB hard drive
500GB SSD

Generally your specs are fine particularly if you are planing on adding 8 more gigs of RAM. The hesitation you are getting occasionally is probably the game adding a new tile as you move about and is pretty normal if it's what I think it is. If the TS2019 isn't on the SSD it'll run and load faster if you put it there.

I appreciate the reply. Yeah I plan on getting 2x 8GB for a total of 16GB to add on to the 2x 4GB now that total the 8GB. Hopefully in total have 24GB if it works like that. I have most of my stuff on the SSD, including Train Simulator and than my operating system and a few other things. You said something about the hesitation, would upping the ram help with that issue?

I had an FX6100 and AMD 7870 gpu in my last build, the cpu is likely to be your choke point but you should be able to get decent frame rates (30+) or probably better with the 1060, I have that in my new build, try a few different settings for anti-aliasing to find a sweet spot.
