I'm still getting the money into my budget and watching the new releases. Planning on the GTX 1070 if I can find one.

Hmm my GTX 660 is getting tired so I'm thinking about a 1060 or 1070. I only play at 1080p so I figured the 1070 is a little overkill for my needs, but I do want to make sure a 1060 can max the graphics out with decent fps. Either way I'll wait a few months until all the hype is over with.

Ahh Nvidia why must you tempt me. **!!bang!!** On the plus note, the 1070 is 10W higher then what my 960 has.

Been saving my money for a long time and decided to buy a 1070. Looking at both I figure for the 300 more the 1070 would cost me I figured I might as well go with the 1070. I was surprised I could still get a founders edition online, figured they would have all been sold out by now.

Both the 1070 and 1060 are just amazing cards, especially for the price of them, the Titan X still cost $1400 CDN and is now beat by the 1070.

My case is not to discourage you. !!howdy!!

If I had the money I would go for it. It is a piece of hardware I would like to have.
I got some email from Amazon today, offering me the MSI, Gigabyte and EVGA between others and I think all would be nice acquisitions.
The 1080 is also on the prowl out there at a higher price.

If you wait a few months until prices go down to the original MSRP ($379 for the 1070, $249 for the 1060), it'll be about $130 to jump up to the 1070 which is far below double the price of a 1060 !!*ok*!!

Is anyone aware of any reviews of either of these cards playing Train Simulator 2016? I'm curious to see how each of these cards perform in TS.

Yeah the price is high now, honestly I just really wanted a founders edition. The Canadian dollar being so low jumps up the price of the cards quite a bit.

I'm probably getting the card tomorrow, it was shipped today and from a warehouse about an hour or two from my house. I'll give an update on the 1070's performance over my 770 I currently have.
