The latest NVIDIA driver -- or perhaps the latest version of GeForce Experience -- is supposed to include an fps monitor and, I think, a screenshot feature, but I can't find any documentation about this. Advice?

I haven't tried the drivers yet, but you might look through the forums over at Guru3d: http://forums.guru3d.com/forumdisplay.php?f=21

I have read on the Steam/ Railworks Forum that these new drivers are crap. Causing hard drive light on all the time, slow boot up, GeForce Experience "thrashing the Hard Drive, and stopping anything else working smoothly". This is the new 337.88's. (I'm still running the 332.21's, very happy with them)

As far as a frame rate counter and screenshots, why not just use the free version of FRAPS: http://www.fraps.com/ (all the paid version gives you is the ability to make videos, as well as the "normal" stuff)

Yes...
After going thru the "update" phase of my PC life experience, I no longer advise people to update drivers, unless they really have to. (last ditch effort) and/or they need a feature offered by the new driver.

As far as the in-game fps counter. Well. lets face it, if you're getting less than 14 fps you are boned. So who cares if it doesn't go any lower than that. **!!2cents!!**
