I just downloaded the demo last night and having a blast! Very addicting, and not at all difficult to get the hang of things (though I do get lost often).

I do have a question, however, and that the demo crashes quite often (v 1.8.1.48930). No mods attached (I did add some, but soon removed). FWIW, I'm still using Win-XP Pro, and have set many of the graphics down a bit to no avail (seems to run equally well on max settings). Is the crashing normal - meaning, can I expect the same when purchasing the full version? Thanks.

Hack - I downloaded the demo a long time ago and never a crash, but I'm using Win7 Pro, so probably not much help to you except to indicate it may be the version of Win that you're using. I didn't buy the full game.

I did buy the full version and all the DLC and am very addicted to it now. I use windows 7 64bit 12 gig ram 3.6 ghz 8 core cpu and I have a lot of mods as well as some standalone trailers I made myself for the game and I never have a crash (game that is I crash the truck a lot lol). Not sure if that helps but it is some more info.

I'm using XP pro also and found this to help allot. Give it a try.
Add this to the game exe. -mm_pool_size 1200 make sure there is a space between eurotrucks2.exe" and -mm_pool_size 1200. Should like like this.
"C:\Program Files\Euro Truck Simulator 2\bin\win_x86\eurotrucks2.exe" -mm_pool_size 1200"

Mine is in Program Files and not Program Files (x86) so yours could be a little different. You get the idea.

I'll update when I can - support has never been an issue before, especially since I have all updates and service packs on disc.

I have win 7 64 pro on my desk. I just don't want to plug it in yet. Still like XP till it is no more. Have 500 plus gigs of stuff on my XP system that I don't want to give up yet. Installing 7 wipes out XP so you have to start over. I know. I'm keeping my old HDD. I'll put 7 on a new SATA HDD and take some stuff off the old HDD a little at a time, It just sucks that's all. I have the full version from DVD,plus addon DVD" going east "and a few mods(very easy to install) on win7 64 bit ultimate,I7 3.0 GHz,12gig ram,nvid gt480 with 1.5 gig ram.One of the most stable running games I have,very enjoyable!

I drive truck in real life but it's still kinda fun to play truck. I used to mod Haulin very extensive with zmod. Made a bunch of my own trucks for the game. Much easier than making things for TS. Had more fun creating than playing the game.

I had Extreme Trucker 2 and really enjoyed it. Looking forward to ATS as well.
