Want a safe system then install updates as soon as they become available. Every system has issues, before any update and after any update.
But I understand when the system is mainly used to visit this forum and play train games security and data integrity is not at the top of the priority list.

Sorry, but I don't fully agree with that statement. As you can see from some of the posts, that is not always good idea. Having an up to date proven antivirus, or at the least Microsoft Defender (very good and free) installed is your first line of defense. It is best to wait until major updates are "offered" rather than a forcing a install rather and installing a "buggy" major update that can cause a BSOD, system crash, repeated restart loops, or programs running incorrectly and requires a complete reinstall of Windows. I personally have been down that road and it's not worth the anguish and uncertainty. I will wait until "offered". If you are talking about security, driver, normal system updates these should be installed when available.I will wait and research before installing a major update.

Over the past week two additional large updates to the current version I was running were offered and installed then the 24H2 version was offered and installed. So far no issues in running TSC and no other system issues.
