Microsoft Visual Runtime error R6025

Hope some one has suggestion: Railworks 2012 initial screens load fine. but after clicking start- the "Microsoft Visual C++ runtime error R6025 "appears. This leads me to beieve that there is a registry conflict with this updated application of Railworks. I had no problems running any routes, scenarios, or trains on Railworks2. What do I need to do to get rid of this error to get to my routes in Railroutes2012? Thanks in advance for your feedback.

Unfortunately you may have to uninstall RailWorks, and possibly Steam, and reinstall it from scratch. See this link for a little more info on that error.

I've read a few posts made where folks have had to uninstall and reinstall from scratch.

I would also recommend downloading, installing and running CCleaner after uninstalling (Run both the Cleaner and Registry options). After running CCleaner, reboot the computer.

Others may pop in with other ideas and/or suggestions so don't run out and do this right off. Maybe wait and see what others have to say. *!!wink!!*

Edit 1: If you install and run CCleaner, just run it with the default settings for now (you can tweak it later if you want). When you run the Registry scan, before you clean anything CCleaner will ask if you want to back up the registry. Sat yes.
