That's all very interesting but my rig doesn't show any update available from 22H2.

Unfortunately, sometimes allowing this option can create issues especially when a new version causes problems with certain programs. There have been at least two times when Windows updates have caused TSC to not run or crash and took a few days to release an update. IMO waiting for at least a week after an update to Windows before installing is prudent to see if any issues manifest. Example: just released KB5043145 has caused BSOD and endless reboots for some users. It took a few days for a patch to be distributed. Those two links that I referenced should help to resolve the issue and allow an update to 23H2.

Windows 11 23H2 wasn't available to me for at least 6 months after its release last October.

No. The first version of Windows 11 23H2 was released in October last year. It was an update from Windows 11 version 22H2. For some unknown reason Buzz456 is still running version 22H2.
