Computer science history is fascinating.

The parallel processing analogue computers used to break Enigma coding in WWII ...

The digital Apollo Lunar Module landing computer in the late 1960's ...

The incomparable power we wield in our handhelds nowadays, no kid learns to calculate using its brain anymore ...

I dabbled a little in home built computers when I was in high school (mid-late 70's), TTL chips lined up like a grave yard, and never quite got it to work ...

The non plus ultra BBC Acorn 8 bit 6502 64Kb computer with 2 floppy drives that set me back 3 grand in the early 80's, but was oh so rewarding in its use ...

I installed the 250 GB Samsung 960 EVO M2 drive on my ASUS MB and did a clean installation of ut3.5 to it. I ran 2 services in overclock mode on the 1060 and I7 6700K and then I went back to stock timing and ran the 2 services again. There is a noticeable difference in both OC and stock modes. The big stutters are gone.Yes there are still very few micro stutters but not as many as with the SATA connected SSD. If you do not have a M2 slot on your motherboard there are PCLe drives that go in your unused PCLe slots. Again the advantage of PCLe drives is that they have much faster read times than SATA connected SSDs. Next I am going to move TS2017 to this drive and see how it performs. If I find anything that runs contrary to these findings I will re post.
Running all sliders to maximum except Screen size at 100% and Frame rates at 65. Still seeing the white screen flashes.
