Railworks America

Here's a train car I'm building to slowly gain knowledge on how to get a train car into the game, then later I'll try locomotives.

Sometime after I get this into the game I'll try my hand at a Southern Pacific bay window caboose. Freeware one.





I found a forum thread that I'm going to use to try to get this into the game, it explains how to quite well.

A new progress shot of the train car. Soon after I finish the modeling and texturing stage I'll attempt to put it in Railworks. Box car will be freeware.

Actually BLLW has a bay window for $10, and it really is good (no sense in reinventing the wheel). My only gripe with it is that it has too many windows to be considered for SP (and other roads), however; if you could make window plugs (as child objects) for it I would greatly appreciate it.

Some more progress.

Will try to get this into the game soon, any tips by the way.
