Hello. This is a new thread about the rolling stock creation going on over here.
To start off this thread, I will give you some of WIP pictures my version of the Hawker-Siddeley Cylindrical Hopper. I hope to make different lengths, as well as some other versions like the Marine Industries and Procor versions. All right here they are. This is a continuation of "Ideas for Freight Cars & locos" (http://railworksamerica.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=2540)

Thanks, this is based on scale drawings, many, many pictures, and measurements. I will also be doing the two (three if you count a different variant) different roof hatch types, trough for grains and the round hatch for potash.

Correct. They will also include autonumbering. It won't just be CP, CN, CP/CNWX, and Potash, there will also be others like Procor and CGMX; those other car companies you see.

Thanks everyone. Today, I bring you pictures of the WIP wheels. I really wanted to incorporate a realistic profile on the wheels, and this is what has come through so far.

This next one shows the outer profile from the side. You can't really see the contours next to the axles like you could in the other photos.

This is the real 36" diameter wheel:
