Hudson Line extension to Poughkeepsie and Albany

Unread postby PennCentral670 » Tue May 07, 2019 7:29 am

Coming soon from me is the extension of the Hudson Line to Poughkeepsie then onto Albany. Also featured is a long section CSX's River Subdivision from CP38. Here some shots so far as I am currently at Garrison and West Point.

Looks good so far! Keep this up. I'm excited to experience the Hudson Line as it logically should've been... *!rolleyes!*

Does anyone pick their feet in Poughkeepsie. Ask Gene Hackman.

The possibilities now will be endless. Lots of old NYC/PC/CR/CSX freights on the west bank of the river and old time express passenger trains on the east bank of the river north of Croton-Harmon! Put that old hudson being worked on to good use along with E and F units.

Nice, I was just in Poughkeepsie two weeks ago hanging out in Mahoney's Pub next to the station. I have to do the walkway over the old bridge this summer.

Sure Whiskey - I used to go to the River Station quite a bit, which has a decent view of both bridges. I am eager to see more images from Penn - so I hope he posts them soon.
