New Adriana County Equipment

Unread postby Fireexplorer249 » Thu Apr 04, 2019 2:49 pm

With Adriana County's aging equipment and the increase in traffic, the railroad petitioned the state for a grant to purchase new equipment. The first two pieces they bought were some ex-UP SD40-2s.

Here is what I have so far. It is coming along nicely and should be finished in the coming weeks. No ETA though. It will have auto-numbering of 2500-2501. I plan to create some ACDX rolling stock using Searchlight's freight cars to go along side these. Tell me what y'all think!

That would be Searchlight's Union Pacific Snoot. The 90s paint scheme.

Thanks guys! Unfortunately a hiccup has arisen and may hinder this project. I will continue to try to fix it and we will see what happens.

I have been involved with a couple of re-paints on one of these so if you need help puzzling your way through this let me know and I'll see if I can help out.

Thanks Buzz. I'm curious to know if you have any idea how to fix this issue I'm having. Here is a link to the topic I have for it. It is really strange, because it is making all of the paint on the engine look funky like this. Thanks!

So while we are working to figure out the problems, I decided to move onto an ACDX ACF 60FT Boxcar. It was just uploaded! Tell me what y'all think!

Just finished a 4750 covered hopper pack! This pack includes a standard ACDX scheme along with two special schemes. A 40th anniversary scheme numbered 141979 and a heritage scheme numbered 141893. The 1979 for the year the railroad was created and the 1893 for when the route was built by the predecessor railroad, the South Eastern Railway Company as explained in the route's description. Anyway, enough talking, here are what they look like. Enjoy!
