For those wondering what's with the lack of any news from BLLW, I felt compelled to finally break the silence.

Due to some issues with the PRR Express package, I've begun adapting the projects roster to try to recover lost time.

Up first is a Bay Window Caboose designed and built for operation, ease of repainting, and numerous options.

Features are still being worked out as the project unravels. A new feature shown here is a fully 3D truck. Definite features will be a detailed interior, different numbering options, and ease of repainting.

While i won't go into complete details, I can say that there will be one other small project following this, then maybe finishing up the Express equipment pack, and jumping into the largest of the projects which should carry BLLW to 2012 possibly.

uh, you do know that all of the rolling stock that came with railworks (even in railsimulator) had 3D trucks right? or are these going to be even more detailed like 3D springs and such?

Just a major note guys for those interested:

I have setup the image of the bay window displayed with this post so it will be continuously updated as progress is made. Please keep an eye on this posting for more updates as time goes. Thanks again everyone for the encouragement and patronage you've displayed towards this project. Don't mind the livery displayed, as I am also experimenting with the mapping at the same time. !!**sorry**!! I'm still developing details to this package as I go.

I've updated this post to show the current progress of the car during the ability to finally subject it to a photo shoot on All Aboard Rails Ft. Kent route. !*cheers*!

Finally... some much needed progress

Thought I'd post an update. I know it's been a while since I posted any sort of progress on anything. I've finally gotten somewhat back on my feet and resumed work on several projects that I am hoping to have released sometime in the near future here. Among them is a Bay window package that I hope will fill the void in that open part of the Railworks roster. Below here is today's progress on the start of an interior. please excuse the temporary textures on the doors, floor and some of the walls. These will be replaced as soon as I have a decent texture developed. There are also a few major details that still have to be added yet besides these.
