The Facebook page states two separate routes initially, Omaha/Council Bluffs to Grand Island in route 1, then Grand Island to North Platte in route 2. No mention of taking it further to the west.

I wonder if Sherman hill will be included. If it is then it may be an extension

I am asking if it will be PART of the Overland route. But I highly doubt SH assets will be used.

A very good question!
The chap's name is Matthew Love. It's a hobby of his and he's been working on it for a few months now. He's been posting updates on my facebook (Smokebox) for some time but decided to do his own facebook page specifically for the route.
