Western Wildwood High Speed Route

Greetings fellow RailWorkers !*salute*!

Well, I've been hard at work on another route for RailWorks.
This time I'm taking on the challenge of making a high-speed-route that will use overhead-wired electrical tracks.

After getting the awesome Class 390 train-set addon a little while ago, I realized that there was a desperate lack of a proper route and scenarios to run it on and to be able to run this train at top-speed.

Though once completed my route will come with several scenarios that will also make good use of some of the default trains that comes with RailWorks, I will also have optional scenario pack(s) that will make good use of the 390 (and perhaps some other payware High Speed Trains).

For more info on this route and some screen-shots, visit the following link:

I'll keep you updated as I continue to make some good progress on this route.
Cheers! :D

Good on you, my mouth is watering already.

To say I'm looking forward to this one is an understatement.

Thanks for the enthusiasm.
I've still been working hard on this project.
Progress is coming along nicely.

Don, it looks fantastic. Very nice work. If it's even close to being as good as King's Arm is, you have a winner (and a waiting customer!) !!*ok*!!

Thanks for the nice comments guys. Yes, I think this will be as good (if not better than in some ways) then my King's Arm route. Well, it will be a lot longer, so more to explore.

Here's a new screenie for ya:

Here's a little sneak-peek of my current high-speed-route project, "Western Wildwood".
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PNnGhonQ9B0

The train I'm driving in this video is the Class 390 Pendolino.
Excuse the lower quality of the FPS in this video, due in part to my old computer and due in part to the video capture software causing a negative hit on the FPS as well.
Still, it gives a little idea of how my route is shaping up.

Cheers! :D

Hi guys.
Well, sometimes life has gotten me a bit side-tracked these past several months. But I've still been working on my route when I can.

I plan to crack the whip again on myself now, work hard on this project and try to make better progress.
It's gradually coming together (though it's taking me a bit longer than I hoped).
In the meantime, here's links to a couple of new screen-shots to wet your whistle:
