It looks great. Shiny.
But pardon me. These Bethgons can they be found all over US railroads, either in the west or eastern RR?
usual all over but rapid discharges are used when theres not enough room or due to expenses occurred with rotary dumpers , in canada rapid discharges are a bit useless due to the brutal winters the coal turn solid into block of ices that has the potential to collapse either the doors or the hoppers itself. hence why they use bethgons , CN have rapid discharge hoppers on lease but they are used as rotary dump cars. CN & CP both ordered the areoflo bethgons as they were light and could carry more.
bethgons have more payload but a bit of slower unloading process but alot more secure than rapid discharge,
Rapid Discharge carry 2 4 ton less than bethgons , but have a faster unloading compared to bethgons , the doors have have been known to come open during transit but newer hoppers dont really have so many issues it come down to payload vs turnaround times
