Indeed, I thought all four were old photos.

I've just finished doing a free roam run from Laramie to Cheyenne, starting at 7pm from the roundhouse and picking up the five-car passenger consist. It took me just under three hours, with two stops - once right before Dale Creek Trestle to take on more water from the tower at the western end, and once at Granite Canon to light up the headlight (it was 9pm by then and getting dark). I forgot about how steep it is coming down from Sherman Station and reached 49.8mph before getting the train under control again *!lol!*

It was a really enjoyable journey.

I've done the same yesterday while testing some more changes at the sunset in realtime. But I only took 116 and the passenger coaches to Sherman, picked up some water (I've had only about 100 gallons left in the tender) switched on the light and saved the scenario. I continued the ride this morning but after fixing the ball signals on the east end of Sherman I noticed that I couldn't pump water in the boiler *!sad!*
It took a while for me to notice that the loco got an update requiring the pressing of additional keys to activate the pumps *!lol!*

For those of you, who want to test the new time of day pattern you can now check it out yourself :D
It's based on the real sun and moon data from cheyenne on the 21st of june

Installation:
Open the folder Assets\SSG\Cheyenne 1869\TimeOfDay. Make a backup from the Sherman_Summer.bin file and then extract the new Sherman_Summer.bin file from the zip archive to that location

That's actually not far from the timing of the express from Laramie to Cheyenne, according to the schedule in Best's book. It called for an average speed of 15 mi/hr, which probably worked out to a theoretical timetable speed of about 18-19 mi/hr allowing for stops. Given prevailing conditions at the time, I'd be willing to bet that the time you made was probably a bit better than typical. !!*ok*!!

Interesting! I was accidentally speeding downhill from Sherman Station for several miles. Maybe if I'd kept to under 30mph on that stretch I'd have been a lot closer to the timing in Best's book *!lol!*

It's unique to all of my locos - part of their scripts. You'll also find it in the UP GTEL (because I scripted it).

How about a winter scene.

I hope adding winter textures to these buildings won't be a problem, did this area get snow or ice?

As well, a new building for the route.
