After some tests stage one beta is ready now.

You will need the following payware:

- Union Pacific No. 119 Steam Loco Add-On (which also includes the original Cheyenne 1869 route)
- Clear Creek Narrow Gauge Route Add-On

If you don't have the Clear Creek route, you can still drive from Cheyenne to Sherman without any issues. From Sherman to Laramie you'll notice some missing assets but also some missing textures.

You will need the following freeware:

- Radiomaster Vegetation

You can download it here --> https://www.railsimulator.net/wsif/inde ... egetation/
Click on the orange 'Herunterladen' button to start the download

Installation:

Unzip the zip file and place the rwp package to an temporary location like your desktop. Then navigate to your railworks folder and start utilities.exe.
Click on package manager, click install and chose the extracted rwp file.

In the package are three free roam scenarios included for Cheyenne, Sherman and Laramie. You can build your own but better wait for the final stage one release.
There are also all original scenarios from Smokebox included but i haven't tested if they are still working. Better run them on the original route.

I would like to remember you, that this is a beta, which means that there are some missing or misplaced assets, but you should be able to run this route.
Feedback is welcome. If you find any bugs or problems just let me know

Dan, I've nearly finished the Dale Creek Trestle. I'll install the extension and try out the trestle, adjusting it as necessary to make sure it spans the valley properly, before sending it to you.

I've just been using the free roam camera to fly quickly from Laramie to where the original route starts (20 miles west of Cheyenne). It all looks absolutely fantastic! I love the way you've set up the towns and farms, using the various assets to make it look like people really do live and work there! I get missing textures around some (not all) of the rivers because I don't have Clear Creek, but I just ignore them and keep on rolling *!lol!*

Have you run the entire route from Laramie to Cheyenne yet? I'm curious to see how long it takes and how often you need to stop to refill the tender. I'll try it myself tonight.

I've posted a link on Facebook to this thread, to let everyone know about the route.

I've done just a short run from Laramie to Sherman with the passenger coaches yesterday. It took about an hour and twenty. With this five coaches you can still do 16-17 mhp on the grades.

Thanks for your support !*salute*!

Today I've done some tweaking to the TimeOfDay blueprints based on the real sun and moon data from Cheyenne (I just have to figure out where the moon is hiding). Here is what it looks like

I'll see if I can build a couple assets for the route as well, a small pack of assets to release here at RWA. I can start on that right away since I'll be releasing my Harlem Old Houses pack this week.

Do you have any pictures of some of these assets needed, like cabins and such.

Thanks for your offer *!!thnx!!*

Here I have two pictures from Sherman. I would like to include the two hotels 'Sherman House' and 'Sherman Summit' and also the station building in the route and without the names on it, they could be also used as generic buildings.

Another perspective of the buildings can be found here --> http://www.wyomingtalesandtrails.com/sherman4.html

Some other assests I would like to include are the machine shop and power plant in Laramie and the sign near the dale creek bridge. (Photos on page 3 and 4)

Is there a way to blow up that picture more so I can what's on the side of the Sherman House?

Here's some progress.

I think not. It's a screenshot from a google books preview of the book 'Laramie Railroads'. You can save the image and use the zoom mode of your image viewer. I can't read whats written on the Shermen House but under Summit House I can read 'eating house'

The door in the first floor of the Summit House was for a balcony. On the close up picture it wasn't built yet.

Looks good !!*ok*!!

I'm still tweaking the weather and I found out, why I got no moon. It's the date of the scenario. I've set it to 1869 but it seems TS can't handle that. If you use a moon grid for different moon phases, the phase is calculated from the day of the month in the scenario. However if the year is below 2000, TS uses always the first tile and that has to be new moon...
