NS unit looks awesome in the game wow! great FPS in seattle. I can add a ton of gp60s and it doesnt change fps 1 bit fully equipped. model topped out at 20,380 polys. oh well can win em all. but its performing amazingly better than the dash 8 and the gp38-2. i will psot a vid tomorrow showing a runby. unit still needs road numbers. Also can someone shed some light as to why my fans wont rotate. they are supposed to be animated. I treated the animation as a 1/2 spin and let the engine finish it out( like everyother animation format). I hooked it up as a auto anim, but they wont run in game. any thoughts? thanks.

Ian

Ian, i'm having the same issue with rotating fans. I can't even get the IA file to convert to a BAN file through the Asset Editor exporter. I'm ashamed to say that ive done these animations before, but its been so long that i've forgotten. !**conf**!

BTW, great looking unit!

anyways still some work to be done. road numbers i will get in at the last minute. horn is in. as you can see in the heart of seattle no fps drop caused by loco. if anything it will be route loading tiles. which is fine.

the only one that bought them was BNSF/ATSF. so BNSF will be the road name for these. they are all payware this time. sorry, spent alot of effort and time on these. hope people understand. its quite a big pack too. NS unit has 5 road numbers, the SP unit will have 5, and the M unit will have 5. 3 different loco variations, 15 locos. I will supply a template for those who want to repaint them, hopefully some scenarios this time too.

would like to note that the top of the nose on the GP60M seems a bit too high. the windows look like they are squashed at the point when the hood comes up, other than that it looks spot on! !!*ok*!!

No dynamic numbering? Not that that's a deal breaker or anything; just curious.
