There are some differences between the various orders of the P42DC, so they all might have slight differences.
Anyhoo, can't wait for the Superliners and the P42.

Why does it look like the glass is different? Smoother, I guess? The nose looks different? Either way, I like the black nose and the stripes better. Sharp looking locomotive.

Looking at it more, you sure that's not a different loco? Look at the rake of the windows in front.

Unfortunately, it doesn't look like the G-Trax model has any glass textures (same as the trains in their Portlad Terminal). Hopefully it can be added before release. That has always been a big pet peeve of mine with regards to some addons in Flight Simulator (no glass shine or texture) as well. It just looks fake. Train windows are not completely clear where everybody outside can see right in. They always look darker...and well, shiney. lol
