not trying to hyjack this CP thread into a ATSF thread (the railway and not 3814) but looking into the differences on a gp7 and a gp9, well there are only a handfull of diferences depending on the phase! so i was wondering if you would do a gp7 using the RS.com gp9 in zebra strypes? (i only ask this because repaints won't work for me using daves gp7 for some odd reason?)

did a little more snooping around and found this out:

there were 2 types of the Maroon & Grey scheme! one with the handwritten name on the side(the one you are doing atm), and one with block lettering below where the handwritten name would have been!

Okay, time for an update:

I know I screwed up on the nose stripes. It's an easy fix luckily. This one has been challenging to say the least due to a lack of reference material. I just guessed at how the back should look. !*don-know!*

I have no choice but to do static numbers on this one too. The auto numbers wouldn't be in the right place on the cab.

The modern CP should be done very soon. I found a great set of numbers to use for the auto numbering but I had to get permission before I could do anything with them.

I have that same problem with the GP7 repaint. Perhaps when these are done I can give it a shot. Trying not to bite off more than I can chew right now. *!!wink!!*

Is this a repaint of the GP9 DLC on Steam?
