don't worry, I plan to release beta 0.1 sometime in July......no specific dates this time!

Small update on my progress. (no screenshots)

I have been playing another game alot lately and not much work has been done to the route. *!sad!* but on the lighter side of things that means i will actually release Beta 0.1 sooner?!?! well i am about 1/2 way done the small line that goes to some town (2 towns along the line there), where i am is at the first town. I think i will release it just up to this part and it will be basically just for light switching or locals to pass by through. I have made some changes to the allowances on the secondary line about locomotives and train length.
1. NO 6 axle locos allowed on the secondary line, 4 axle locos have a MAX speedlimit of 25mph.
2. Trains running on the secondary line have a maximum length of about 15 cars due to problems with car slack over the bad track which leads to derailments.
3. No steam locos allowed on the line.
4. No cars over 60ft (grain hoppers are allowed still, and centerbeam cars) due to tight corrners in certan spots.

the induistrys, and yards that will be included with Beta 0.1 will be 4 Grain elevators, 1 small cement induistry, 1 lumber yard, 1 small yard on the main track, 1 very small yard at the first town on the secondary line. (consists of 2 tracks about 150ft long)

ok, here is where i am at. first i must find out what assets i used (i think i can use RWTools to find out?), then make the route into a RWP.file, then get permission from everybody whom's stuff i have used, then finally upload to hawk! (due to summerschool this may take a while---up to a week)

still wating on 2 more people to give me permission then i shall upload it! for now i shall just talk about it. so the route basically starts in the flat open prarries, moves to a more wooded prarrie, then wooded foothills, more of a open grass foothill, then finnaly ends just into the mountains. the current branchline runs to a smaller town with around 5 elevators and a depot. many small towns along the route, some with railroad related induistrys, and some where you just pass through. the mainline has signals, but the branchlines are dark. not quite shure what should be on the second branch on the line which is in the foothills though?

what you will need before installing for the route to work:

3DTrains scale rail, scale road, and the trees one. (all freeware but required for the route)
Allaboard assets (payware)
SooLine Assets (donationware)
GTrax portland terminal (payware)

what assets will come with the route:

Assets used from GreatNortherner
SAD Scenery set
SMM structures and trackstuff that i used in the route
PO&N (trackrule was used for the branchline)
there was something else but at this moment i can't remember it.

the route will run great on all computers, i have a "walmart" computer and it runs at 20+ fps through most of the route! the only area where you could find shuttering will be at the main town due to the portland terminal structures having a higher polly count than the rest of the buldings. (only noticable for me because i go from 30fps down to around 15-20 fps. i may post more about the route untill i get all the permission i need so i can upload it.
