Ah, well no rush, question though, are you doing custom sounds? If so, I may be able to lend a hand if you want. There's an S2 that occasionally works a job here in Milwaukee, have a few friends with good recording equipment, could get some sound for ya if they bring her out to switch out cars for the UP marsh job to pick up.

This video has a pretty good idling sound for the S2:

Here are some cab photo's for when you build the cab of it. Including a photo looking directly at the engineer's controls.

P.S, what do you plan for it to be, payware or freeware.
Just curious.

Keep up the great work.

Hey! Thanks so much for those great reference photos! No doubt, they will be a big help when I get the cab going. Currently, I only have a few interior shots, so these will make a swell addition.

@steve-the-slim
Thanks for your Youtube audio ref as well. ...just lovin that chug chug sound! I listened to a few more there, too. Great ref material!

To you both ~ thanks for your interest !*salute*!

It's the least I can do when there are real cab photo's to be found.

Still waiting on a chance to record that S2 working the Nidera plant in Milwaukee, but in the meantime, I'll try to rummage through my old VHSs and DVDs to see if I can't get some audio, although I don't know if it'd be legally usable or whatever.
