Hi,
I will be looking to do a few variations, just not sure I have the time to do the low nose version with the differences in loco and cab.

Any liveries you are keen on then put up a screen shot. I will aim for 10 might be a few more, really depends on how I go.
Also, do feel free to point out the differences and educate me.
:)

best regards

Derek

Ok here are the pictures of the livery's i want to see! The first is a CN loco in the 1950's livery (a must or i will be EXTREMELY DISSAPOINTED), the seconed is a CP jeep with the "packman" logo on it, then a standard BN unit, and finnaly another must is a Montana Rail Link loco!

Please, please, pretty please?

Also, please consider a future release of an SD9 based on your GP9 work. Railworks needs a good SD9.

Regards,
Trevor

Derek, please do the Western Pacific liveries (versions):

The WP had 8 GP9s. Would make a perfect addition to the great WP SW1500. The only difference to other models seem to be the headlights.

Other I would like to see: Santa Fe, Southern Pacific, Union Pacific, Great Northern, CN(?) and maybe Illinois Central (now subsidary of CN)

Keep the images coming, once I am at a good stage I will put up my proposed list. I may not make it through them all but I will do my best.

Hey Derek. Do you think you can do a cabless B unit of this locomotive as well:

I know Burlington Northern, Union Pacific, Conrail and Penn Central had them. Not sure if any other railroads did though.

Does any of the Class one Freight Lines still use GP9s?

Wikipedia says that CN and CP still use some of them (mainly rebuilds) as switchers.

CP uses them for sure, I've seen them stuck in the power mix on longer manifests, the CP rarely runs with more than 2 locomotives, but when they run a larger lashup, they sometimes will put a GP9 second out, i don't remember exactly why, but I heard it has something to do with making it easier for the ES44AC's and AC44s to go around turns or take switches or something like that.

I dunno about the CN, never seen one myself but CN's got a whole lot of weird/old power so I wouldn't be surprised. They have a GP40-2LW they use for switching around where I live. CN loves them widenosers :P
