A little burned out...

Unread postby PapaXpress » Sun Jul 29, 2012 5:47 pm

So I wanted to do something different. Rebuild part of the library I lost when the drive went "BYE BYE".

I don't have any Conrail routes. Perhaps someone can find a good home for this?

I have a few more signs I want to do (it will be a mix-mosh) and I will package them up. Same rules as all my other work. It will be done when its done *!!wink!!*

Here is another I finished. This was one I lost the source to up until last night. Then I was able to fix up the pole and add the bolts (the original looked to ... simple).

This is one that is used on my route (did you happen to see that driver less UPY-588 pass by?).

I know someone made a FO marker here, but it had a flat cap, and UP over here uses domed.

I new one would look a bit more orange. I will likely make one.

I found out that I did not apply my -15% brightness to the texture. I'll post another later.

Yes, I have them single and lofted. I just need to figure out what spacing to use. I am thinking 300ft? If you have a better suggestion I am open.

Here is another. UP, thus I need it (need to find some SP).

Also completed my 2 Head gantry signal

I still need to learn about how many links to what tracks. I am sure I am doing it wrong.

I started watching Pike's tutorials almost a year ago, and then forgot about them. Thanks for the link!

That's some good lookin' signage!

Burnout. Is that what you call it when you have been working on a project for so long that you're brain is numb and you will puke if you have to look at one more schematic, manual, blueprint, or 3D grid? **!!bang!!**

I've made the Attention signs for a local contractor in the area who does work for the EJ&E (CN). The lettering I did was all caps.
The background was reflective yellowish- green, with the copy reflective black. They really glow at night when headlights hit them.
Your signs look sharp. If anybody need the real thing, I'd be happy to make them, Aluminum stock, any quanity, shipped anywhere.

Not sure if they would need the real thing, but they could use a picture of them to use as a texture.
