Colleagues,

A new scenario is here for Pike's Eagle Ridge Bay route v1.2.

You can now run an early piggyback train pulled by fantastic Empire Builder-colored GN engines. The scenario includes a somewhat difficult switching job at the start when you must assemble your train at Eagle Bay Yard.

I have seen this route mentioned a couple times now but where would I find it?

I tried searching at train-sim and didn't find it. I downloaded it sometime early this year .Hmmmm where did it go ????

The original Route was built by Ant Flack and then modified / updated by Marc Simpson with help from Otto Wipfel I think. This version is available from Otto's site and can be found at: http://www.otto-wipfel.co.uk/rw-downloads/
The file is er-rw-09-dec-7.rar

Pike ( Tim McIntosh ) also updated this Route and added this Route with his scenario packs which are available at Train-sim.com. You have to have Marc Simpsons update installed first to have Pike's updated Route and I guess now using Micheal's scenarios.

HTH's....I think I got it correct.

Is Otto's version trustworthy? I only ask because I have all too frequently found both duplicated assets and items missing from his download files. This one was evidently assembled in 2009.

I wish someone would take Pike's version of this route, plug in whatever makes it depend on the original version, and give us a single download that would not require keeping two versions of the "same" route on our computers. Anyone?

to find the route everyone is talking about ( updated version) i went to Golden age through the link and i could only find senarios for the route and no downloads for version 2

Just bumping this since it's relevant to my post in 'problems and peculiarities.'

While the link to Otto's site works, I tried downloading the .rar file and installing the route, but it hasn't affected the Marc Simpson 'Eagle Ridge Route' I downloaded from the RWA library initially (unsurprising as it seems to be exactly the same file), Michael Stephan's scenarios don't show up in it, and the three TrainSim links to the scenario packs are dead ends.

A mystery I hope someone with more experience and knowledge than I have can unravel...this one's eluding me. The route itself looks great and I'd love to run the TOFC and Grain Extra scenarios, but I'm stumped.

Thanks to Samwolf, I now have the original route so this scenario should work. Now if I can only get the ones that came with it working!
