Greeting fellow RailWorkers :D

Well, after hundreds of hours of working on this project, my "King's Arm Highway" route is finally finished.
Image

For more info on my route and to download it, visit my site at:
http://www.rryard.com/ , then click on "My Routes for RailWorks" link from the menu there.

This is a FreeWare route (though I would thankfully welcome any donations if people enjoy my route & scenarios and want to show their appreciation - more info on that over at my site), and it should work with RailWorks default stock and assets. I've made use of a couple of freeware assets packs but they are already included with my route's package, so there should be no need to download them separately.

There is however one optional duplicate version of my "King's Coal" scenario that makes use of a freeware addon that can be downloaded and installed separately (see the ReadMe file that comes with my route's "zip" file more more info on that).

Many thanks to all of the kind people that showed their help and support to me in the making of this route (see the "ReadMe" file with my route for more details on that). **!!bow!!**

Making this route was sometimes a mix of fun and frustration, but overall it was great experience for me and I've learned a lot from it.

I'll probably soon be working on more route projects.

In the meantime, if you have a chance, please get my route and try it out. Of course I'd be interested to know peoples impressions of it, so feel welcome to comment on it.

I hope you will all enjoy this route. I'll soon be releasing some more scenarios for it.

Thanks again, and I'll see you on the trains. !!*ok*!!
--- Don.

The route can also be downloaded from right here at good ol' RWA, but LoneWolf's site is a good place to go for info on the route. *!!wink!!*

I have definately enjoyed testing this for Don, it's been a lot of fun. Never thought I would enjoy beta testing so much.

The scenarios in this new add on are a lot of fun, and it runs flawless. Of course, I love the Challenger. Nice work, Don! !!*ok*!!

Thanks for the positive comments guys. Glad to see some RailWorkers are enjoying my route so far.

Thought I'd put mention here about the recently released optional "Challenger Scenario Pack" for use with my King's Arm route.
I tried to make these Challenger scenarios interesting and fun, so if you already have the Challenger addon installed (it's a payware item: http://store.steampowered.com/app/24033/ ), then hop-aboard and enjoy the ride in these Challenger scenarios! :D

You can find the "King's Arm Challenger Scenario pack" listed in the File Library here in the Scenarios section, or go directly to the download link here:
http://railworksamerica.com/cgi-bin/dl-cnt/download.pl?file=095

I'll also soon be working on making up some more scenarios that will make use of default locos & stock.
Toot toot! !!*ok*!!

Hi guys.
Just a quick note that my "King's Arm Bonus Scenario Pack 1" is available, which was put up to the file-library here recently in the Scenarios section.

Direct download link here:
http://railworksamerica.com/cgi-bin/dl- ... l?file=096

The two scenarios that come with it make use of default locos and stock, so no additional addons or assets should be required to run them (aside from having my King's Arm Highway route installed of course).

Enjoy! :)

PS: Again, a Big Thank-You to Ed (Hawk) for his kindness in hosting my route & scenarios files. !*salute*!

Hey Pam, thank you for your kind comments about my route & scenarios.
Good to know that some people out there are having fun with it and think it's a well made route.

With the skills and knowledge I gained from making this route, I'm now busy working hard on a new route in my spare time. I'm trying a few new ideas with this one. Perhaps I'll give some details on my new project after I make some more good progress on it.

In the meantime, fellow RailWorkers can still enjoy driving on my King's Arm route.

Cheers! :D

Well now, I got the route too.

In the UKTS forum a person started a thread asking for members top 5 free routes,
My No. 1 can only be one route, yes, Kings Arm Highway.

Theres no "bout adout" * it, !!wink!!*, its up there with the best, in fact it may be better than other routes.

Hi fellow RailWorkers. :D
Just a quick message to let you know that I've just released "King's Arm Bonus Scenario Pack 2" for use with my King's Arm Highway route.

This pack uses default locos and stock, so nothing extra should be required to run them (except for my King's Arm Highway route being installed of course).

You can get it at my site on the following page:
http://www.rryard.com/kings_arm.html

Plus, Hawk also has it in his Library on RailWorks America in the Scenarios section - Thanks again Hawk.

Enjoy!

Much thanks again Hawk.

Yes, it was brought to my attention from a couple of users who tried my version-1 of the Bonus-Pack-2, got an error of: "Consist builder - Can't load rail vehicle - ES44AC BNSF".

I thought I had used all default only locos & stock for those scenarios (as that particular model had showed up on my "default" list, or so I thought), but I guess not. Maybe it was some "re-paint" I had installed a while ago or perhaps some other route or pack I installed had it.

It was already reported back to me that this newer version seems to load and run okay for the people that were previously having troubles running version-1 of this pack.

So, if anyone else has the same problem, then I've already swapped-out those locos in that Bonus Scenario Pack 2, then you can simply un-install the older "v1" version of this pack and install the newer "v2" version of it, and hopefully it should work okay this time.

If version-1 of this pack already works for you without problems, then you must already have the "ES44AC BNSF" loco somehow, and no need to install the newer version.

Thanks for your understanding. ---Don
