Erie/Erie Lackawanna Units Uploaded

Unread postby XDriver » Wed May 16, 2012 4:35 pm

Files were sent into Hawk. I threw in my left over NS heritage ES44's that NS didn't paint as a bonus. They are separate rwp files so you can choose not to install one or the other. Hope that's OK. !*salute*!
I have an EL GP9 but I'm only uploading default stock for the time being.

I have been hoping someone would bust out some EL, my favorite railroad. Those look great!!!

I've tried to paint some stuff but between work and school, it's never worked out.

You're all welcome. I have plans for this one. I want to put the GP9 up with the HSC repainted hoppers. Of course you'll have to have both payware items. Here's a peek.

Nice units and awesome photos/schreenshots.

I like the dull/semi-gloss look your almost all of your repaints have. Isn't that called egggloss or eggshell gloss at a DIY shops paint mixing counter?
Don't worry about the GP9 commercial add-on. All serious TS2102 US players have that pack, it is compulsory, much like the HSC!

You do still plan to release that nice looking route of yours?

Just got 'em and fired them up. I am going to wear these units out. Can't wait for the GP9's now.

If you were looking for another excellent model to do up in Erie/EL attire, the payware SW1500 is a personal favorite. We would have the makings of a nice roster with a switcher. Of course, I'm partial to switchers and all... *!lol!*

Strong work. Make me want to do a route now.

Thanks for the comps and I hope they're workin out OK for ya all.

This will be the final version of the Geep. I like making little packs instead of just one thing so I hope it's OK to include the coal hoppers. I have a new P3 horn to go with it also. I'll make them an option to install. So it will include horn sound and two hoppers. Default EL hopper and a weathered version. *!!wink!!*
Here's a short sample vid of the P3 horn and my HSC H21a hoppers take advantage of Krellnuts wagon sounds. *!!wink!!*

Two more I'm going to add to the Erie Family and that will be enough of these for a bit. :D
Need to change the yellow on the F7 and tone things down a bit. Couple other little things to tend to. The Geep's ready.
From all the photos I looked through, some might have thought they were black but they're a dark blue. I know the F7's were along with the green ones which I think were a different time frame or depending on what area they ran. I like the dark blue on the Geep. I saw more than one photo showing them a very dark blue. I tried to match that as close as I could. I'm sure some probably were black. Color photos of this railroad are few.
