Steel Trestle Kit (GN Design)

Unread postby GreatNortherner » Fri Apr 06, 2012 6:37 pm

Hi,

Something new is now available for all you route builders, a new steel trestle kit. Based on a standard GN design, though slightly simplified, the kit comes with:
- three spans (one short and long with straight sides, one long with the GN 'trademark' tapered sides)
- towers in three different heights
- towers for slopes, in the same three heights as the 'normal' towers, and each one with either full 'level' or half 'level' transition.

This kit is freeware, please use and redistribute it with your freeware routes.

You can download it here:

Cheers!
Michael

You beauty! I'm already using your Testle and Girder bridge packs on my route. They're awesome.

They look great Micheal.

Now if only someone would repaint them and your urban buildings.

Why on earth would you want to repaint it - IMO looks perfectly fine to me. What is s steel bridge supposed to look like?? Most that I know were painted with a red-oxide primer to protect the steel and inhibit rust

Beautiful job Michael by the way...

!*cheers*!

Hi,

A little update: I have just uploaded a repackaged RWP of this trestle kit after Chris Schwan informed me that the three single girder spans had been missing from the pack. So if you'd like to use those single spans without the towers attached please redownload the RWP from the location above.

Merry Christmas, Michael

Thank you for the update on Bridges, etc. The link referred to is leading me to "Multiple choices" which are all blind alleys such as " File 404", etc. !*don-know!*

May be my works or a broken link. Could you check it out this year or next? (Couldn't resist phrasing it like that due to status of the Calendar).
Have a great day!
