Hi,

A new toy for all route builders who model older times: a set of working semaphore signals!

They are fully functional, but they are NOT animated. The blades will just jump from one aspect to the next in an instant. I haven't managed to get the multi-step animation to work yet, but after playing around with these in the route editor for a while I think this issue is only noticable when you are looking right at them. Running past them you won't notice it as the signal will usually only change its aspect a moment after the engine has passed it.

These signals are based on a 1950s GN book of rules, just a bit simplified -- a signal chart for these is part of the GN BUtte Div. route documentation. A basic set of head, track, exit configurations has been provided too, that should allow them to be used on most not too complex track arrangements.

A full set of single, double, and triple head signals is available, the single and double headed ones come as permissive and absolute signals.
Gantry and tall mast versions are included too. The third head (with short blade) is always restricting, and there's even a "third head only" yard signal on a short mast.

You can download them here: http://golden-age-rails.com/scenery.html

Cheers,
Michael
