G'day all.

Now that my 12-Days of Christmas are behind me (I hope some found them interesting and useful), I thought I'd share some screenshots of projects currently on my workbench which I hope to share very soon.

I have a exciting assortment of projects under way and I hope others will find them as interesting as I do.

Let's get things started, shall we?

First up, more Boxcar/Tankcars. Much like the Linde-Union Carbide cars, these were used to transport liquid gas. This set will include all three schemes, representing about a 15 year spread for the use of these cars.

I love to repaint unusual and 'one off' cars.

There are many talented artists here on RWA that cover the modern era with high-quality repaints. So I have chosen to work on unusual and under-represented equipment.

So, I'll be uploading a variety of such schemes.

Here's an example:

Next up, will be a series of Dry Ice and Ice Service cars.

I have several already in the works with several others to still begin...

Having served in two military branches of the military [USN and later USAF - retired], I have always enjoyed reading about how the military utilized railroads.

I have a variety of repaints under way but here's a few:

These represent a series of boxcars purchased in 1951 by the Department of Defense for use by the Army, Navy, Marines and Air Force services. I've also done a DODX car which was used later.

I also am almost finished with a series of USN Weapons boxcars. My repaints represent the NWS [Naval Weapons Stations] on both the East and West coasts. Now if only I can find a ammunitions bunker, so I can make a small route for switching.

These cars present modern/current USN munitions and supply equipment boxcars. The set is a pre-numbered accurate roster:

I’m particularly interested in those military boxcars. I feel like there’s a relative lack of some past and modern US armed forces railcars in train sim.

Almost forgot these...

As always, when I get them finished, I'll also provide some history/context for a deeper enjoyment.

Almost forgot about this one!

I've got so many on the work bench that it's challenging to get everything sorted.

I'm taking a few days to work on organizing my files and then I'll start getting things checked and shared.

Also hope to clean up and release some older repaints.
