Railworks America

This model is a Canadian National reskin of Larry Goss’s freeware American Car & Foundry 40ft 10-6 Boxcar. I apologize for the static numbering, but the dynamic numbering is in the wrong place. You can download the freeware model here:

Run the RW_AssetSetup file to install the model. In the scenario editor the model is listed as: “AAR40ft10-6BoxMT CN1”. This model is installed into: Assets\MaineLines\ RailVehicles\Freight\Boxcars\AAR40ft10-6Box_CN1. Sounds require that WJSounds be installed and enabled for the route it is used in.

I did this reskin for the beautiful Columbia Valley & Pacific route. This package is released as freeware. You can do whatever you wish with it EXCEPT make money with its use.

Is this repaint based on a certain prototype or is it just fictional? I'm only just curious since I don't recall CN having any 40-footers painted in green.

The repaint looks pretty regardless.

It is from a prototype picture I found online. I scanned the side to duplicate the color. If you will notice, the herald is an older style so these cars might have been in some sort of dedicated service.
