MIRR_Genset
Posted: Tue Mar 16, 2021 8:46 pmThis model is a Marysville Industrial Railroad reskin of the DTG CSX Genset. I repainted it for operations on the Industrial Interactive route. Mileage on their fleet of diesels was adding up which created too many mechanical issues. The MIRR approached CSX and bought three of their Gensets that were in storage. Although the Gensets were not well suited to CSX, the MIRR has been quite pleased with them.
To operate this model, you must purchase and install the CSX NRE 3GS-21B 'Genset' Loco Add-On from Steam (http://store.steampowered.com/app/277762/) . It’s a great model and you won’t regret the purchase.
Unzip and install using the included RW_AssetSetup.exe installer. Copy the GEOPCX file from Assets\DTG\GensetCSXPack01\RailVehicles\Diesel\Engine\ and paste it into Assets\DTG\GensetCSXPack01\RailVehicles\MIRR\ Engine\. In the scenario editor it’s listed as: MIRR GenSet NRE 3GS-21B.
