These models are Louisville and Nashville Railroad repaints of the freeware G-TraX 4-Pack Lightweight Passenger Cars. The G-TraX pack is available in the Railworks America file library. They are appropriate for just about any route set in the 1970’s. I plan to do a blue car set later.

Run the RW_AssetSetup file to install the models. In the scenario editor, they are listed as: LN_Ltwt_Baggage01, LN_Ltwt_RPO01, LN_Ltwt_Coach01, LN_Ltwt_Diner01, LN_Ltwt_Sleeper01 and LN_Ltwt_Sleeper02. The models are installed into: Assets\G-TraX\Trains\ RailVehicles\Passenger\LN_Lightwt\.

The L&N introduced postwar streamlined passenger service with the advent of The Humming Bird and The. Georgian, and gradually updated the equipment on such passenger trains as The Pan- American, The Piedmont Limited, The Crescent, The Azalean, The Dixie Flyer, The Flamingo and The Southland.

This package is released as freeware. You can do whatever you wish with it EXCEPT make money with its use.

In further research, the stainless steel L&N cars were used in pool service on the Southern Crescent. Most of the L&N's passenger fleet was in blue with a gray roof. Just for fun, the L&N also had Tuscan red cars painted for the PRR Southwind and Azalean. It was an interesting time for railroad modelers.
