Swap Freight Car Trucks???

Is it possible to substitute the trucks from one freight car to another model? For example, I would like to model a set of express boxcars and reefers that have short, passenger trucks (see example below). I've never seen this done before, but this forum is blessed with some gifted modelers.

I've been interested in the idea for some time now. I've tried one thing, but it didn't work. I'm still trying to figure out. There has to be a way..

Wait, I always thought the Trucks(bogies) were part of the original Geo files, which would make it impossible to change trucks without the original construction files? Correct me if I am wrong, this would be nice to know.

You're correct. The bogey blueprints reference the trucks' node IDs in the overall model, not separate igs files for each truck.

It's a shame though, there could have been a shared file for each existing truck model, and asset builders could have saved a lot of time by just referencing them.
