I've been quiet on here for the past few months, but that doesn't mean that I haven't been active in the simulator.
A couple of scenario projects have kept me pretty busy, and while reviewing those today I realized that I also had almost a dozen other scenarios complete that I either never got around to publishing, or had only published on the PCR site before. I've resent a few out for re-testing as I completed them so long ago that I couldn't remember their completion state. Those will be added this week.
This thread is for the scenarios that I've now submitted to the RWA file library, which will be available for download the next time the file library is updated.
C EBMNPJ - The Outsider
A scenario for Tomcat's Powder River Basin (v3) - tested in 32bit and 64bit versions of Train Simulator
Requires the dependencies for the PRB route, and the freeware Bathtub Gondolas by BCBuhler from the file library.
This scenario takes place in modern day Wyoming (2018). Union Pacific train C EBMNPJ loads at the Eagle Butte Mine north of Guernsey, and takes its coal to the
Jeffrey Energy Center in Kansas. This train is unique in that it and its empty counterpart are the only UP train symbols to take the 'north line' out of the
Powder River Basin.
G HASPSA - The Worm
A scenario for Tomcat's Powder RIver Basin (v3)- tested in 32bit and 64bit versions of Train Simulator
Requires the dependencies for the PRB route, and the payware Dash 9 DLC from Steam.
This scenario takes place in Wyoming in 2009. BNSF Train G HASPSA1 is one of few units trains traversing the 'north line' of the PRB that is not a coal train. It hauls
soybeans from Hastings, Nebraska to the interchange with the Puget Sound & Pacific Railroad in Centralia, Washington. Despite your train being lighter than
the many unit coal trains on the line, it will be no easy task to get it over the road. The clouds overhead are threatening rain, and wet rails combined with the roller
coaster grade profile will keep even the best engineer on the edge.
MROWC - We Will Deliver
A scenario for Tomcat's Cajon-Mojave (alpha) route - tested in 32bit versions of Train Simulator
Requires the dependencies for the Cajon-Mojave (alpha) route, plus the Union Pacific SD60M DLC from Steam (may have been included with your Sherman Hill install)
Also requires the SD60M Repaint and Texture Upgrade Pack by Zack, in the RWA file library.
2013 was a busy year for western railroading. Both BNSF and UP experienced higher traffic volumes on all of their major corridors. As
a result, many older locomotives were pressed back into mainline service, lending horsepower to assist wherever the power desk needed.
Your train today is the MROWC, a heavy UP manifest from Roper Yard in Salt Lake City, to West Colton Yard in Los Angeles. Your trio of
SD60M units have been fighting up the grade of the East side of Cajon Pass. The rails will soon level out, and the challenging descent
to West Colton lies ahead. You had best be steady on the brakes, or this heavy freight could soon get away from you!
