That's what Espee fans call this paint scheme... orange ends with a black car body and frame. SP wanted to do a simplified black widow paint scheme to reduce painting costs. They came up with this scheme, and it didn't last long. Along with a few Geeps, some F units and E units received this paint scheme (maybe some SD7/9's too, but I can't remember for sure). It wasn't a stellar success, and it was dropped. Eventually, the orange and black gave way to grey and scarlet, and the rest is SP history.
