Straypacket, first thank you for building the Route. Runs great but to me if I may make a suggestion. The Siding Markers are too short and are very hard for the player to make the drop. The Markers as they are you have to spend a log of time to figure out which one of the Rolling Stock is the correct one to drop so that the Task Log will Step. If you make them longer that problem goes away. I am not criticizing you, just a suggestion. Thank you for listening.

That should be an easy fix for anyone to do.

Yes it is an easy fix for anyone. I did this myself but it is straypacket's Route and it is up to him if he wants to do it. So I don't want to do anything rash. Just telling him of the small problem that needs to be fixed to make things easier for all who use the Route.

straypacket, also the Scenario, Last Pickup of the Shift. You can't get permission to pass the RED to go to the Gravel Pickup.

ET$$AC, It might be easy for you, but I am not at ease using the editor so I will probably have to forgo d/ling this route.

I would d/l it anyway. It's a fun route just like it is and if things get updated then we will always be more familiar already.

The Route does look great. I was just trying to point out a few things that would make it better.

I guess that the Route Developer must be busy, so no comments made by him.

First, let me say that for whatever reason, I've never been a fan of the eastern routes...I have them, just not been "grabbed" by them like I have the western routes.

I took this route for a spin this morning. Yes, it is unfinished, BUT, this route has what I'd hoped for what both Penn Coal and Horseshoe Curve didn't have.... Length and Grade Challenges.

I don't know what period this route wants to be, I hope it's a more modern NS than LV. Route structures swing wildly from late LV period to modern NS....... (edit)....or should I say Reading and Northern?

I'm concerned about switch motors being between the rails and the signal towers being so close to the rails. This area needs some work, but hey, they do work correctly.

All-in-all, this route has some great potential as a "working" route....coal empties to the mines on the branch lines, loaded coal deliveries to Jim Thorpe to go off route. Manifest deliveries to the various industrial areas. Lots to do.

I hope the author will continue to develop the route to its conclusion. It has good potential.

I agree this is a great beginning actually more than that. I got a chance to explore quite a bit this morning and there is a lot there in Carbon County.

Is this still a WIP? Emphasizing "progress"? More than a year after the last reply in this topic (without the authors appearance), is this project discontinued? Can anyone (like me) fiddling around with it and even release his own copy/version? Is anyone working on this route?

Very nice route. It's also a good route for those of us that love to "tweek" things to our liking. I would encourage everyone that might have reservations, to go ahead and download this.

Thank you for creating this for us, straypacket.
