Hey guys,

Soon to be uploaded Southern repaint of the Feather River F7 - the overall reskin comes from Buzz and Kevin's awesome Norfolk Southern Executive repaint, just tweaked to take her back a few decades to when they ran their four FP7s.

There isn't and actual FP7 for TS I don't believe, so he's using the F7 from feather river to simulate the FP7. Only difference is about 4ft of length.

It's actually modeled after the FP7s that they ran on excursions and such. But yes, it's adapted to the F7 freight model for the sim.

Is the FP7 from the California Zephyr an actual FP7 model? While on the subject, is the F9 correct?

FP7 with the Zephyr has two headlights. I believe the Southern one has one headlight so you can get it with one headlight or four feet longer and two headlights.

In order, FP7, F7, F9... it does appear that the FP7 is just slightly longer and has two additional vents/hoods on the rear of the carbody.

For those of us who aren't quite rivet counters, having the correct headlight arrangement would probably be more important than an almost unnoticeable length difference and a couple of vents.

+1. And for those that are rivet counters go make a FP7 with one headlight and I'll be glad to start doing paint jobs on them................................What about the E units? Forgotten in the mists of time.

Who made the E-units that came with Portland Terminal? Would be cool to see those updated!

I suspect those are Dick Cowens E units.
