I was finally able to publish the entire Donner Redo today, thanks to DTG changing the uploads limits.

Did you do any track work such as adding superelevation, or just pure scenery?

The next questions:
Did you make further modifications to the version released in RWA?
And did you fix those gantries detail levels with signals I mentioned you about a month ago or so (because they did not show)?

GPU EVGA GTX-1060 OC 6GB at 1920x1080, 144 Hz - Monitor ASUS VG-248QE
System Windows 11 Pro in WD SSD 500 GB. Games in Inland 1Tb M.2 NVMe PCIe

No I forgot about the gantries!
It's the same as the mod here, but it's advantage is that as a separate route, it' won't get undone by a DTG update. People can modify this to their hearts content and not worry.
I'm also hoping people will write scenarios for this.

DTG will only update the .AP in any case, but you probably will do minor updates in the future.
Since the tracks have not changed at all and the improved route has the same folder (and not a clone), all existing scenarios in the Workshop are immediately available.

The existing Workshop scenarios work with my mod here in the RWA file library, but the Donner Pass Redux is a different folder, IE it needs it's own scenarios.

The updates to DTG routes will indeed undo mods in the external folders. I found out some time ago when physics mods quit working, that the bins were snipped off the ends of the file trees.
If a person just looked real quick into the assets folder for a particular route, they would think the external folders were still there, but if you click down through them, the modified files right at the end would be missing. (Usually) I'm not sure why they occasionally leave them alone. In most cases DTG or Steam somehow finds and erases those modified files. Especially the bins.

Oh dang... I can't reply there because I once mentioned stretchy couplers and got banned... seriously none of their rules got broken. !*don-know!*

Taw_Rex is right, the Donner Pass Redux isn't a mod like here at RWA, that is the whole route.

I'm not sure a person can upload just a mod in the Workshop.

OK, I sent you a PM about this subject.
So, if I understand well that Workshop file has a cloned Donner modified with your files?

Banned for a techno-answer? !*roll-laugh*!

Yes on both counts. I have mixed feelings about the banning. On one hand I didn't do anything wrong, but on the other, that forum is so locked down that a person can't really help without offending the overlord.

I have given an answer but I am no sure of what is it going on. I have no experience with the Workshop. !*don-know!*
I will have to subscribe tomorrow and see what I get. I mean if there are two Donner Pass.I don't think the Workshop Redux has the full Donner but maybe some links or aliasing to the 00000032 folder.
If that is true (2 x Donner) you may need to edit the route properties for the Workshop version and name it different.

That moderator is long gone so you could probably go back if you wanted to. Its fairly relaxed now, though still only of marginal value compared to here or the old steam forum. http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/f ... .php?f=619

I voted "redux" up. I think you need 30 votes to finalize.

You're over-thinking it. Eric has given it a new name and you will get the full route. Oddly enough it is called Donner Pass Redux.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

It his not that I am over-thinking it. I just have no clue whatsoever of what is it going on with the Workshop version and I believe Eric has had his own doubts.
I have the RWA version installed and all Eric files are placed in the 00000032 folder. I expected the same to happen with the WS.
Someone who subscribed posted in the Steam threat that he did not see a second Donner and because of that he unsubscribed. !*don-know!*
