So, even if the TEM 2 has improved with the years of its existence, i doubt that the other developers wouldn´t be able to create such realism and atmosphere into a loco.
I use to fly with FSX for some years and there the realism in the c*ck-pit and in flightdynamics is much more comlicated than in a railsimulator, and even very small development teams are creating wonderful addon planes in a short time.
unfortunately not everyone ( and Derek and Co. in particular ) , have the time to refine a single model into what we see today
That most of the switches in a payware loco are "dead" or cannot be clicked - that has nothing to do with "not having enough time".
And in a time where payware locos do not even have a good working computer display in the cab and many non-functional switches and knobs, well,
I hope more developers, RSC and third party, will look closely at the TEM2 when making their own models.
..i totally have to agree with this statement. No offending.
