I have tried to use your site, however, it wants to up load multiple things to my computer, before sending me to your file?

Thanks,

Galen

It's not my site but Mike Durdans I know he doesn't have the best way of doing things. I had to download the pack for the SD40-2s and it is quite a pain. The cars will be on Railworks America once Bob gets them up.

That is because the files are hosted on Mediafire. It will open popups, or ask for input before downloading.

Mediafire has become a malware infested nightmare, that's why I pushed for you to also upload them here. It's best if you don't know exactly what to do on sites like mediafire to wait for it here.

Yes I agree, however, I would love the CP Rail SD40-2's as well! :)

Good news they are in the file library here. I'm working on a scenario pack currently here's some screenshots from on of my runs. Currently you only will need the Canadian Mountain passes route the Coalgons from either the file library or TheLocoShop and CPRailfans repaints of Great Northerners cylindrical hopper.

You have done a great job with these! I also finally navigated through the "media fire" nightmare, and got the SD40's. I notice that the headlight is in the wrong position... ( up high were the bell is mounted, and not in the nose). Do you know how to fix this? All of these new assets really add to the possibilities of the Canadian Mountain Passes Route. Thank you for sharing!

Best Regards,

Galen

I don't know how to move the headlight the bell is a child object that simply covers the original headlight it's still under the bell.

Yeah Mediafire is not working for me it has some kind of "error" to the captcha code. Reloading the page doesnt work, not even on other browsers.
EDIT: I turned off Adblock and it works, have yet to test it out now.

I don't have any problems but I have a good ad blocker so I don't see any adds or anything on Mediafire. I can ask Mike if there is another site he could put them on to download from.

Thanks for the mention of my repaints, I'll start on some more soon! more CP rail cars are Due to be in the makes! Some Hoppers in the regular CPRail silver multimark and the regular CPRail logo in the red logo and black logo. I am also thinking of making the famed double sided CN rainbow car. Some CP low side gondolas will be coming as well! I have lots of ideas still. CP cars are unfortunately still not very well represented here in Railworks. So I'll be working on some more repaints.

For what it's worth...

I downloaded from the Loco Shop - without problems and without any untoward events.

You do need to be careful what you click on, to satisfy the Captcha qestion, and to decline any invitations not directly related to the Mediafire download.

Caveat emptor!

Kind regards,

I was running these with the CP ES44AC's with advanced braking on hard and when I was going down a hill I made a 3 PSI reduction the train stopped as if I put it in emergency. They work fine as far as I know with other locomotives. Does anyone know what would need to be changed with the bin files to make these work properly. I also tried copying the CP coal hopper brake files over but it makes the brakes perform better but makes the cars impossible to move with the same 3 ES44AC's I was using before. I would play with it myself but I'll only be home a few hours for the rest of the month.
