The Southern Pacific had 28 4-8-4 GS-4 locomotives numbered 4430-4457. They also had 2 GS-5 locomotives numbered 4458 and 4459, which were the last 2 in the batch GS-4s equipped with roller bearings. These locomotives were built to pull the SP's Daylight passenger trains, and were painted in the SP's famous black, orange, and red Daylight paint scheme. Since the G-TraX SP GS-4 Pack only came with 4449 in the Daylight paint scheme, I decided to make a dynamically numbered Daylight by using the Warbaby numbers. By copying the Daylight textures onto a Warbaby model and removing the 4449 numbers, I was able to make a dynamically numbered GS-4 in SP Daylight paint. So now you can now run multiple GS-4s and the two GS-5s in the Daylight paint scheme. I also made a large bold lettered "Southern Pacific" tender in Daylight colors, which the SP started using after WWII. And, I made a Warbaby tender in large bold "Southern Pacific" lettering too.
